The countdown affects both for example: you could use one for an existing Stygian, and one for a Guardian blessing, that would be 2 of the 5 limit.

Sleeping in the space between the Order vs Chaos floors of the labyrinth, the CHILD OF DYSTOPIA returns the call from the Singularity. It embodies the incomplete, unfinished desires of Order vs Chaos, the entropic untamed elements, presence betraying a greater shadow underneath of its true form unable to be contained in the Nightmare Realm.
